Class Description:
Boot Camp (BC) and Boot Camp Express (BCX) Get ready for a total body workout that includes cardio, intervals, weights, and drills. An all-level class. (BCX) is 30 minutes and Saturday (BC) is 90 minutes.
Cardio Combat Not your typical kickboxing class! Here you will learn proper breathing techniques, basic strikes, kicks, grabs, safety tips, awareness and overall attitude and confrontational skills associated with Martial Arts. A great workout for all fitness levels. 45 minutes.
Cardio-Chisel (CHC) Group weight training class done in a circuit format. Weights and cardio segments are alternated throughout the class. The best workout to improve cardiovascular fitness levels. 1 hour.
Chisel (CH) Group weight training class using barbells, sculpting all muscle groups and
raising the metabolism. 1hour. All levels can attend.
Circuit Express – This 30-minute workout gives you the benefit of cardio and strength training and is a great way to burn calories. Class is held in the Circuit Express Studio. **Please call Regina Coreil at 214-761-6309 to set an appointment to learn how to use the room.
Hatha Yoga This 45 minute class includes a series of rejuvenating and passive poses to generate flexibility, promote health and create a state of deep relaxation. Designed specifically for that “end of the week stretch.” Great for all fitness levels. 45 minutes.
Pilates Intense Sculpting - This Pilates class utilizes different props such as; stability balls, fitness circles, the Bosu, dynabands, etc. to intensify the workout. 45 minutes.
Pilates Group Training - The Pilates group training is conducted on a both the reformer and the MVe chairs which utilize resistance coils, pedals and ropes for intense, yet gentle body strengthening and flexibility training.
Play Tough – This is the craziest class of the week. Every week, the instructor will take you through various drills so that your workout is never the same. Have fun jump roping, balancing on the stability ball and/ or Bosu, throw medicine balls, run stairs, etc., etc., etc. 1 hour.
Power Yoga (PY) A type of ashtanga yoga, this class is designed to build strength and muscular endurance while improving overall flexibility. Get ready to work hard! 70 minutes.
Spinning (S) Who says Dallas is flat? You won’t think so when you hit the terrain in the Spinning studio! Specially designed bikes take you on the journey of your life. 45 minutes.
TRX (TX) Designed by a navy SEAL as a go anywhere workout. This set of nylon straps creates resistance from two sources always available; body weight and gravity. Resistance can be adjusted from 5 percent to 100 percent of your body weight by changing your work angle, incline of your body. ur body.
Tread’n (TR) Improve your running or walking or just come for the intense workout. Tread’n uses the treadmill to simulate an outdoor journey. 40 minutes
Wake-up Yoga (WY) Start your day with this flowing class designed to get the kinks out. This energetic form of yoga promotes strength, flexibility and endurance. This class is appropriate for most fitness levels. Monday at 6:15 a.m. in the Group Fitness Studio and Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. in the Spin studio. 45 minutes.
Zumba A fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, dance aerobic class. 1 hour.
